The Shopkeeper and The Attendant

- Take A Chance, The Magic Numbers

Again, it did feel like yesteryear. The age of innocence. None of the bitter, battered, broken sore feeling which serves as a three times a day meal nowadays. The search of new meanings through a blinded lens with the end result still unable to grasp the lesson behind every passage. In these times those are the pages we with turn back and reread carefully. Reviewed with the new enchanced perspective time has carved onto us, the past story does gives wisdom. Boy, does the clock tick without notice. The wasted space and time are now regrets not to be taken wholeheartedly. Insteed, it should slap us even harder on both cheeks. Wake up and smell the coffee. That's what should be said. But what should be done is another different matter. Don't sulk. Just preserve your fortress but remember to open the door. Isolation will not make anything happen for the good sake of life.

The dealer did'nt had to come. The player did'nt have to come at the first place. It was supposed to be a usual gamble. An easy hand to win without the big stakes. Too bad, the dealer had suffered a series of major lost and is now determined to close down the margin. The player won without any effort and won quite a lot. Feeling on top of the world, he decided to buy some drinks and left the table. Being greedy he came back to play more hands. But, the dealer has caught the player's guard down. Time to strike. It is now break even. The player is still very hesitant to futher his investment. You'll never know what's behind the dealer's sleeve. The players is a scoundrel used to binge drinking, multiple drug usage, and street fights. By a glance, he would take the same risk on gambling. But, all along he's a coward looking for another reason to run away from the feelings he should feel at the first place.

I keep having dreams. Lots of them this past month. One involves being trapped in a room full of snakes with someone whom errrm developed special affections in the past. Another one pictures me in a nice Western apartment (the scenary resembles Brisbane) with my family in a morning setting. Then there's this one where I was being chased down in the swamps but a girl (presumably French and unknown) who eventually caught me and did very sexual assaults. The last one was more straight forward which shows me staring into her eyes and the world just stopped. Okay, the last one was chessy enough to be slipped into Raam Punjabi's sinetrons. My unconscious thoughts need restructuring these days.

P.S. : Wish my skripsi the best of luck. Cause luck currently seems to be running dry in the Big Village. Ciao!
